Winter

As soon as the South Tyrolean mountains are covered with a soft white mantle, the keen skiers won’t resist the temptation to live an unforgettable winter holiday on the apple-plateau.

Natz-Schabs is the perfect starting point to the following important ski resorts: Plose, Gitschberg/Jochtal, Kronplatz, Ratschings, Gröden/Sella Ronda, Rosskopf, Latemar.

Alpine skiing and snowboarding, from the easy to the steep slopes to the bump slopes. But not only on the slopes you can have fun!
You can try out the many cross-country trails or go skating, or even have fun curling. What about a beautiful winter walk through the snow covered fairy-tale landscape, a sledge race among friends or romantic torchlight walks in the moonlight.

Autumn

In autumn the apple is in the centre of attention on the apple-plateau Natz-Schabs, on the fruit trees, at the festivals and even in the kitchen.

During the period of the "Apple Week" in October, the coronation of the new Apple-Queen of Natz-Schabs takes place, who for a year will represent the holiday region at home and abroad. On that occasion a big festival with a parade and the biggest crown made of apples in South Tyrol is organized.
There will be served local dishes, like dumplings, apfelstrudel, special apple-pancakes and fresh pressed apple juice.

And after the apple-period there is the one of the roasted chestnuts on the occasion of the traditional "Törggelen"when sitting together in a happy group you drink the typical young wine, eat bacon and local desserts of the Isarco Valley...

Spring

As soon as spring starts, Natz-Schabs lies in a beautiful sea of flowers, and the pleasant climate invites you to stay outdoor.

The whole apple-plateau Natz-Schabs dresses in white and pink and turns into a dreamy pleasant-smelling sea of flowers.Every year, at the end of April, we offer a special highlight: „The Royal Festival".

The Applequeen of Natz-Schabs invites you to a royal week with slide lectures, walks through the blooming nature, a small market and with a magnificent parade and festival of the queens and kings, the princesses and princes

Summer

With the pleasant sunny days you will enjoy even more the beautiful landscape of South Tyrol, which is the perfect backdrop for various kinds of sport.
